Tours and Transportation
It’s appreciated at Maison des Landes that not everyone is capable of driving a car or would even want to bring their car to Jersey and this could leave guests without any form of transport. Included in the price is collection from the harbour or airport in our fleet of specially adapted mini-buses.
We provide, at no extra charge, daily sightseeing tours conducted by knowledgeable and caring drivers in our specially-equipped minibuses. The tours visit major places of interest, Jersey’s magnificent beaches and shopping centres and usually depart mid-morning with stops for morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea, returning in plenty of time for dinner. Evening tours featuring visits to the theatre, bowling etc. are also available according to demand and availability.
Some of the places of interest that we will visit include:

Rendered defenceless by the UK, Jersey residents had to choose between staying and going, both of them as uncertain as each other. Those who remained, without weapons to fight with, found their own ways to resist before finally, after five long years, the day of liberation arrived.
