Maison des Landes is a charitable trust set-up by the Lions Club of Jersey to provide holidays in Jersey specifically for people with a disability, along with their family, friends and carers. We’ve been welcoming guests with disabilities since 1960’s. Our newly refurbished premises combined with 50 years of experience enable us to give people the kind of break they thought they may never be able to enjoy again.
In 2021 we commenced a £3.8 million refurbishment of the property to further enhance the experience of our visitors. When the hotel reopened in 2023 we also launched the Community Hub - a social space and meeting place for Jersey’s elderly, local disability groups and organisations. Whilst these improvements are fantastic for visitors and locals alike, funding our work remains a constant challenge.
